Membership
Become a Friend! A successful library depends on the dedication and efforts of our community. Membership places you with others who share your appreciation and importance of literacy and education.
Friends of West Pearland Library provide a strong advocacy in support of the library programs and events. Fundraising resources contribute to supplies and services not covered by the library’s budget.
Membership benefits include:
- The right to vote at the annual membership meeting
- Advance notice of programs and other special events
- Sense of pride for being involved in your library and community
- Feel good about supporting a resource that benefits the community
- Opportunity to volunteer to benefit your library and your community
- Meet others with shared interest in the library
Dues are $20.00 per year per individual. There are three ways to join the Friends of West Pearland Library:
- You may pay at the library. Place your cash or check in an envelope and insert it into the Friends’ lock box. Be sure to include your name and state that it is payment for membership. The lock box is on the circulation desk on the first floor.
